ABOUT ME
I have always known I was kind of different.
Even from a very young age I have always been able to see things that others simply cannot.
At the age of 3, I had a face-to-face conversation with my grandmother. This may not seem out of the ordinary in itself, but my grandmother had been dead for 5 years!
As I described my grandmother’s ‘special chair with wheels,’ to my mother, she nodded and smiled a knowing smile. In later years my mum would tell me that that day she had instantly recognised the gift of second sight in me, her young daughter. A gift that has been a part of the family for generations.
A Young Psychic
As I grew older, I began to recognise that being psychic isn’t at all something that can be called normal.
And I slowly, but gradually, came to accept that I was somehow different from all the other children. They simply could not see what I could.
My mother also played a huge role in helping me get through my difficult psychic teenage years. A psychic herself, she would often read the tea leaves for friends and family alike.
As I myself tried to do playfully what she did with the tea leaves, I was told from my first tentative attempts, that I was accurate… scarily accurate. I would even on occasion give my mum a tea leaf reading, where she would patiently sit and listen to my predictions for what seemed like hours on end : )
Yet, by my late teens I was trying to live what you could call a ‘normal’ life. I strove to ignore my gift as a psychic ~ I got a regular job and trained as a hairdresser in Nina’s Salon in Glasgow’s Dennistoun, I went out to the local café with friends, I bought my favourite records and I wore mini skirts ~ everything a typical 60s girl did back then.
But it was not to be. My psychic side was always there. Even as I cut and styled hair at the age of 16 I was making predictions for clients, clients that would come back to the salon time and time again. And just to see and speak to me.
As a young woman, I played with a deck of Tarot cards for fun, and would use them with my friends. I gave them mini readings, where on hearing what I had to say to them, they encouraged me to do more.
But I was scared. Scared of what being a psychic meant, and more importantly, scared of whether I could actually control my ‘gift.’ (I would often worry about what would happen if I couldn’t).
EMBRACING THE GIFT
By the age of 30, and with the passing of my mum, I had a life-changing meeting with the late, great Scottish psychic, Henderson Lynn. From a young age he had always helped and tried to guide me onto what he would often describe as my “true path ~ my “true work.”
As a way to deal with the grief and the death of my mum, I found myself picking up an old deck of Tarot cards that Henderson had gifted me years before. They helped me get through the pain. I could feel their energy, and it was uncanny. It was supernatural.
“Those of us that are supposed to be here, are. Those who are not remain in spirit.”
I also started to ‘see’ more and more ~ more visions, more vivid dreams, more predictions.
It was as if my psychic side had been magically unlocked. I was still fearful, but I knew I was being guided and protected. And I just knew that my mum would always be there with me, at my side.
From then on I decided to use my gift. I would use it for good, and to help as many people as I could.
Just as the Tarot and the gift had helped me.
USING THE GIFT FOR GOOD
FOR MORE THAN 40 YEARS MARGARET HAS USED HER GIFT FOR GOOD.
She has helped and guided thousands of people through her one-to-one personal psychic readings.
And every one of those readings has been unique, just as every person’s path is special to each of us.
Margaret has also shared her gift through personal and public appearances. Supported Charities
As you may know from reading my books and my personal story, Huntington’s disease and Cancer have been a big part of my life ~ with Huntington’s affecting a large part of my mother’s side of the family, and Cancer affecting me personally.
By buying any of my books you will make a contribution in helping a good cause, or two, as I’m giving 10% of all profits made from the sale of the books to four charities—charities that aim to eradicate and alleviate the effects of both Huntington’s disease and cancer from this world.

Scottish Huntington's Association
The Scottish Huntington’s Association is a Scottish charity that was established by families living with Huntington’s disease in the late 1980s. Experiencing directly the lack of services available to them, the organisation pursued the goal of setting up specialist family support services and this ultimately blossomed into the development of an extensive network of specialist services.

The International Huntington´s Association is an umbrella organization formed by Huntington’s Disease associations all over the world, representing more than 250.000 individual members.
Their main aim is to connect people through their unique borderless network. They work for better care, treatment and research for Huntington´s Disease. They also collaborate in world-wide clinical trials that are approved by the IHA board.

Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK is a cancer research and awareness charity based in the United Kingdom. Its aim is to reduce the number of deaths from cancer.
As the world’s largest independent cancer research charity it conducts research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Research activities are carried out in institutes, universities and hospitals across the UK, both by the charity’s own employees and by its grant-funded researchers. It also provides information about cancer and runs campaigns aimed at raising awareness of the disease and influencing public policy.
Cancer Research UK’s work is almost entirely funded by the public. It raises money through donations, legacies, community fundraising, events, retail and corporate partnerships. Over 40,000 people are regular volunteers.

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. It also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care.
